In the field, you create scintillating sensations ranging from gentle tingles to delightfully shocking zaps when you touch others. You discover the intimacy of electricity, something few have had the chance to experience. We’ve designed the physical space around the coil so you can control the intensity and character of the feelings with the way you hold your body and the ways you touch your friends. Electricus is very much an experience of sharing, collaboration, and experimentation. When people join and move together, they can intersect the field in new ways and multiply the effects, with chaotic and amazing results. It’s a great way get closer with your friends and connect with an unexpected kind of intimacy you won’t find anyplace else. Seriously, these are feelings so far from everyday experience that words for them have not been invented. To bring these experiences to Burning Man, we’re outfitting a thirty-two foot dome as a Tesla-field playground.
